6/1/17 ftf, wren

I was able to count a few more things as accomplished at work yesterday, although the microchaos of the three vacant positions continues.  The plan for filling the jobs may change a few more times before we’re done.

The vet called with Becca and Elbee’s biopsy results.  Elbee’s was fine, but the growth on Becca’s third eyelid was cancerous.  It is a type of cancer, hemangiosarcoma, that is very bad when it occurs elsewhere,  but my vet thinks it may be curable by surgery because of its location.  He has put in for a consult at the fantastic animal cancer center at Colorado State University (where we took Elbee for her radiation treatments).  All paws are crossed that the doctors there will concur that surgical removal of Becca’s third eyelid will be curative.  I’m hoping to learn more by the end of the week.

I really need to get on top of my work to-dos, so I’m setting a goal of completing five things today.

  1. Aww, poor Becca! Paws definitely crossed.

    • Thank you, Calypte. I’m praying the cancer has not spread, because it is a very bad type of cancer. 😦

  2. Absolutely, paws crossed for Becca. It’s encouraging that you had a good experience at this animal cancer centre previously.
