I am cautiously happy about the special counsel who has been appointed to get to the bottom of the Trump-Russia connection.  Everything that I’ve read agrees that Robert Mueller is an excellent person for the job.  Things have been unraveling very quickly of late.

What was I thinking when I scheduled an applicant interview for 7 am today?  That is normally my quiet time at the office.  I’m regretting it now, but it’s not the end of the world.  After the interview is over, it should be a quiet day, as the boss is busy with patients.

  1. I try to avoid the news these days, but I was amazed at the mocking tone last night when I caught the opening news about “never treated so badly” – usually British newscasters are a bit more professional, I thought, but this was almost sarcastic! Also had the hopeful, “This might be the point we remember as starting the change” – fingers crossed!

    • Really, Trump has lost all credibility, with everyone except a relatively small group of fanatics. The US press has maintained decorum in their reporting, but they would have to.

  2. It’s looking very promising with the appointment of Mueller, isn’t it? Paws crossed!

Think scheduling an interview for 7.00 a.m. is a masterstroke. I’d have to be very keen to get the job to show up at that time of day 😉

    • Good point, SL! And she did seem as if she really wanted the job. She’d obviously done a lot of research.
