It was a gorgeous Spring weekend.  I especially enjoyed some long hikes with the dogs.  I’d gladly take another two days of it right now.

I was hoping that anyone but LePen would win the French elections straight out and am sorry to see that it’s now going to a run-off.  If the American election system was sensible enough to have similar rules, we wouldn’t be faced right now with an incompetent orange man hell-bent on destroying everything good in our country.

Today marks the first day of a completely bossless week, hooray!  I intend to use the time wisely and be a wonder of productivity.  I’m hoping it won’t be too uncomfortable at work today, however, as I had it out on Friday with a fairly new employee who has been stepping on my toes for months.

happy dog time!
