Everyone was in an uproar yesterday, especially the boss, after it was announced that the evil vice president gave the department head the sack.  Personally, I’m no big fan of the department head and so don’t see this as a big threat to our organization, but not everyone see it that way.  The boss wanted me to go out to lunch with him, apparently just because he was so upset about it and need to vent.  This really put a crimp in my productivity feats.

I’ve been summoned to a meeting with the people who deal with office space.  I am expecting that they will tell us we have to move our suite, possibly to the second floor of the same building.  I just have to remain strong and negotiate in the best interests of our center.

  1. Oooh! What did he do to get sacked?! And your boss sounds childishly needy sometimes!

    • LOL! My boss is childishly needy, for sure. 🙂 It’s not really clear why he got sacked. The story that’s being given doesn’t hold water. I suspect that the evil VP doesn’t like him and wants to move someone else into his job.
