3/17/17 ftf, wren

This is the time of year when I’m always thinking, “Phew!  Made it through another winter.”  And just lately I’m also thinking, “Phew!  At least the Dutch had the good sense not to elect another far-right wacko.”

Yesterday’s radiation treatment was fairly unpleasant, but I made it through, and the next ones should not be as bad.  Quicker anyway.  Although I’d love a quiet and productive day, Fridays when the boss is around tend to be hectic.  Nevertheless, I’m aiming to finish five things from the big list.

  1. I’m glad the first one is over, and you survived it! Are you taking any time off work?

    • Thank you! I took the whole day off from work yesterday, and spent the morning with the treatment. It was nice to have a quiet afternoon. My next treatment is early Monday afternoon, and I’m going to go home after it. That’s probably what I’ll do for all of the treatments.

  2. Yes, glad you got through it, and that the rest of them will be shorter. I hope your boss might be less demanding given what you’re going through at the moment!

    • Thank you! My boss’s emotional IQ is extremely low…which is to say that is not any less demanding than usual. *rolls eyes*
