The boss is off to a conference for the rest of the week – hurrah!.  I’m looking forward to some relatively quiet days when I can make more progress with the list.  So far this week, I’ve finalized our Center’s annual budget and fleshed out two of the three project budgets that need to be done, so at least it feels as if some progress is being made.

I’m starting today with a massage at the cancer center.  It’s one of the services offered through their wellness/survivorship program.  For the past six months, it’s been one painful, invasive procedure after another, so I am thinking that it will be helpful to have something relaxing done to my body for a change.

    Yay for massage!

    • Yes! It was lovely, and only half the cost that I would ordinarily pay. They also gave me my choice of a beautiful handmade pillowcase as a gift, made and donated by the wife of a patient. I’m finding that a lot of perks are offered to cancer patients.

  2. Hope you had a nice quiet day and lots of Feats of Productivity. Glad the massage was nice.
