T’s 6th January

Today is a Bank holiday in Italy for Epiphany. Following the tradition of gifts being brought to the children by a wrinkled old ugly lady flying on a broom (who is called “Befana” in Italian). At last a bit of cool weather arrived here as well in the last couple of days. No snow yet, where I live.

I’ll take little notice of the bank holiday, I’m afraid, as I’m going to meet with a co-author online during the afternoon and work back and forth on a paper we are writing together. Sun is shining and my mood is cheerful and all bright!
