My life is in a bit of a holding pattern until things are sorted out with the surgery.  My doctor consulted with the local surgeon, who, upon review of the biopsy results, felt that the operation should be done by an oncologist.  There’s no such resource where I live, so it will have to be at the cancer hospital that’s affiliated with my work.  I’m not terribly happy about this but can see the wisdom in it.  Now it’s a matter of waiting until my doctor can connect with the oncologist and get an appointment set up.  It’s looking less likely that it will happen this week.  In the meantime, my obvious focus must be on getting things in order as much as possible at work and at home.

  1. Urgh, I feel your frustrations! Still, things ARE moving, so hang on in there! (((hugs)))

  2. It must be very frustrating having to hang around, but guess you have to trust that the medical professionals know what they’re doing. Paws crossed you get that appointment asap!
