Happy 2017 one and all!  I’m trying to be hopeful about this new year but in truth am feeling great trepidation as the time of the orange man assuming power nears.

During the break, I was finally able to shake that nasty cold, hurrah!  We’re in the midst of a big snow storm that is forecast to last most of the week.  It was quite pleasant yesterday, when I could just walk in the snow with the dogs and then stay home all cozy while watching the snow fall through the windows.  Today I must drive in it and am hoping for the best.

I was able to complete a lot of work projects last week, and my aim for now is to keep on top of things so that I’ll be in good shape when I have to take time off for surgery.  The doctor and I are supposed to speak about options for a surgeon today.  I’m keeping my fingers crossed for an appointment with a surgeon this week, but realistically it might not be until next week.  The process of getting a diagnosis took a long time, and now that I have it, I want to get to the treatment right away.
