SL’s FTF, Wed 7th Dec

Got quite a few things nailed at work yesterday but then my meeting at the end of the day started later than expected and went on for longer than expected. It was productive, at least. G came round in the evening and helped me with plot ideas for my quasi-1930s detective novel – we now have a murderer, a victim, a motive and some other bits but still need to work on the murder method, clues and red herrings πŸ™‚

  • clear up carnage
  • STLs
  • finish compiling accounts set 1, get chief to sign
  • circulate final version of accounts set 2 to trustees
  • continue EWC minutes, would be nice to get them finished today
  • Waterstones
  • food shopping
  • dinner with G, more plotting I expect

  1. It sounds as if you are gaining momentum with your detective novel. That’s very exciting to hear! When you’re done with this one, I had an idea for another. You could have one in which a British charity administrator stumbles across something suspicious while reconciling some books, and this leads her to uncover a mystery which she then just has to solve. πŸ™‚

    • Liking it! πŸ™‚ A lot of fraud happens within charities and I’m always keeping an eye out, partly to make sure it doesn’t happen to us, and partly for plot ideas…

  2. I’m loving the novel chat! So exciting πŸ™‚
