SL’s FTF, Thurs 13th Oct

Z was back at work yesterday so that was good. Time seems to be hurtling past and am into my busy period again pretty much starting now.

Managed to get a short walk in this morning which will help me reach my weekly total of 70,000 – it’s becoming quite a struggle to get this done when it’s dark and cold, and it was raining this morning!

  • walk
  • STLs
  • finish club bank rec
  • fund admin
  • must get on with auto-enrolment stuff
  • anything else today would be a bonus
  • go to Kings Cross to look at market – I hear there is a Comte stall!
  • food shopping
  • dinner with G

  1. Is comte a cheese? If so, it obviously must be good. The US is fairly backwards when it comes to cheeses. We don’t have nearly the variety or quality that can be found in Europe. There’s also a vile thing called a “pasteurized cheese product” that is really just an amalgamation of chemicals intended to substitute as cheese. I’m guessing that pasteurized cheese product does not exist overseas.

    • Comte is indeed a cheese! It’s a hard cheese made in region close to Burgundy. I love it 🙂

We do have some pretty awful processed cheese over here, but I’m not sure it’s quite as bad as the stuff you’re talking about!

  2. Such a great iron will (or do you say steel will?) to go out to walk in the dark and the rain even!!! Kudos to you!

    • Thanks! It’s getting harder and harder. Just a week and a half to go before the pedometer challenge ends, and then I’ll be able to hibernate 🙂
