The vibe in America was pretty ugly this weekend, due to frenzied political news – and that was just from occasional check ins.  I imagine the political junkies will be checking into hospitals to have their electorlytes and oxygen replenished.  I think the entire country is suffering from a severe overdoes of donald trump.

Anyway, last week was hectic and busy at work – lots of meeting and lots of boss time.  At least for today, I have no meetings planned and it looks as if the boss has plenty to keep him busy and out of my hair.  I’m hoping to use this day to regain a semblance of control over my workload.

happy dog time!

  1. OMG that orange man is so dreadful, and just keeps getting worse. I really hope the US sees sense in 4 weeks’ time…

    • His polling numbers are in the toilet. The Princeton Elections Consortium predicts that he has a 5% chance of winning. I’m keeping my finger crossed that no new bombshells fall on Hillary in the next month. The horrors of the past weekend actually seem to have been positive. Donald dragged out every possible bit of nastiness that he could find about Hillary, and the consensus is that his base will love it, but it won’t win him any new voters. Meanwhile, the wikileaks October bombshell that the vile Julian Assange has been threatening were released over the weekend, they were a big yawn, and they were completely overshadowed by Donald’s nasty tapes. Of course, anything can happen, but I’m feeling hopeful.
