It’s going to be a very busy day, opening lessons for 2 classes, one in the morning, one in the afternoon, then office hours and then the celebrations in the afternoon for a colleague who retired. Celebrations mean that a colleague from Milan has been invited to give a praise and a speech. Ah! Sometimes academia seems so utterly unearthly. We just never seem to have enough of words. But I must admit that sometimes I do, actually.
So for the rest of the time (10:15-14:30, at the very most) I’ll go to hide in the library and work to my CD revisions. And not much else will fit in.
