T’s 22nd Sept.

Ok, these weren’t properly great days to test the Ivy Lee method.  Today I gave a presentation, but I managed to get 4 points out of 6 done.

I imagine the trick is in selecting activity of the right size/length.

Anyway, here are my  6 dots for tomorrow:

  1. CD revisions: revise for the easiest problems to be solved
  2. CD revisions: add note to Fontenelle
  3. read student’s thesis + answer students
  4. CD revisions: tackle difficult points and reduce their number
  5.  check for consistency (capital lettters, references, bibligoraphical notes etc)
  6. doctor: get calcium prescription + certificate for the gym

  1. That’s a good point about Ivy Lee – it wouldn’t work so well if the top six things that needed to be done each took ten hours to complete. I suppose in a case like that, the thing to do would be to break the very long task into it’s smaller components…?
