5/6/16 ftf, wren

I had good news from the dentist yesterday – no cavities and no other problems.  Hooray!  I also saw the hand therapist, and all of my hand exercises (four times daily) have yielded improved range of motion.  Right now, I have recovered about 50% of the normal range of motion. It still seems possible that another ligament is damaged, so we’ll see what the surgeon says about that in a couple of weeks.

Watching the news videos about the terrible fire in Alberta is so sad.  Nothing else to say about that.

The boss worked out of the office yesterday, so I enjoyed a peaceful and productive day at work.  Now that the biggest pressing projects have been completed, I’m looking forward to a Feats of Productivity day at work.  After that, J and I are meeting with a financial counselor.  I hope to come away from that meeting with either a plan of things we can do to better prepare for retirement or reassurance that we are on the right track.
